GWA Patch Drop: Up The Irons / Urizen
“Oh Well, wherever, wherever you are, Iron Maiden's gonna get you, no matter how far.”

I remember discovering Maiden, I don't recall where I was but I remember seeing the name "IRON MAIDEN" on a marquee and thinking "that sounds pretty cool". The tunes, the vocals and the artwork (Eddie!) Maiden has it all.
Maidens logo and album covers are iconic. Back in a time where we took a little more care with such things. I'd love to see the original paintings if they still exist.
These battle jackets are all mine from back in the day. I wore to school, shows and around town. All the patches were hand sewn by me. Once upon a time in High School I took a sewing class, I was 1 of 2 boys out of 30 in that class.
Never thought that years later that I'd be using these jackets in content for my own business.
One of my prized possessions, a wristband I caught at a Maiden show that Steve Harris (Maidens bassist) wore during the gig. I still remember the moment it hit my hand.
Bruce Dickinson (lead singer of Iron Maiden) is my favorite solo artist. This makes this patch personal for me. I was ecstatic (and still am) when he finally announced a solo tour starting last year. I finally got to see him live from the front row.
I also gave his roadie a Mariner Convertible Deluxe and matching patch from this weeks drop. Hopefully it made its way to Bruce (who knows roadie probably kept it).
His solo work is criminally underrated. He's the reason I discovered William Blake's works and art. If you're not familiar with his solo works I highly recommend exploring his catalog, The Chemical Wedding is a masterpiece.
"Urizen" patches will be sold as a set with a matching dye cut slap.
Patches drop 2/28 10am PST. $15 each for Irons, $18 for Urizen w/ slap. No limit.
