GWA x C2R Fast: DPM Collection
Starts Friday 6/20 10am PST
”Keep Calm and Carry On”
First ever camo collection drop. Citadel Crew, BRONSON Duffel and Convertible Deluxe.
In collaboration with C2R Fast a tactical gear manufacturer in the UK producing goods for elite Military and LE units worldwide. The DPM (Disruptive Pattern Material) collection features fabric, patches and hangtangs imported from the UK supplied by C2R Fast in Hereford, UK. Collection sewn in the USA.
All pieces in the DPM collection feature a blue liner. Color picked by C2R Fast.
The inspiration coming from Queen Elizabeth with Blue being her favorite color. Blue paired with DPM a pattern that was adopted during her reign. Appropriately the nickname #queenelizabethsplaid is born.
Each piece in the DPM collection includes a laser cut hangtag and patch. Patch is laser cut from leather and is lined with the same DPM fabric used to build the collection. “Keep Calm and Carry On” was fitting both as an iconic British slogan and the carry aspect.
DPM is also paired with Ranger Green trim. Originally was going to use ODG but Ranger Green blended in beautifully and better. YKK Zippers, Tweave, webbing, etc.
All pieces in the collection also feature matching DPM loop. Made specially for this drop.
DPM collection drop starts Friday. Not a pre-order.
Citadel Crew drops 10am PST. $340
Convertible Deluxe drops 10:30am PST. $99
BRONSON Duffel drops 11am PST. $350
Highly recommend reading up on the history of Belfast and “The Troubles”. Belfast is an interesting place with a complicated history.
Pictured here is the Peace Wall. A wall that divides Nationalists and Loyalists. Erected between neighborhoods the wall is high to prevent projectiles and explosives from being thrown into neighboring homes. The wall spans for miles.
Lots of murals around town telling the story from both sides. Belfast may not be a huge tourist attraction but I highly recommend it for history buffs.
This gate still closes everyday separating both sides.
Check out the TV show “Say Nothing” on Hulu it was a good starting point that peaked my interest and inevitable dive into the full conflict. Lots of good YouTube docs available to watch.
